I worked under Safeguard as Assistant Project Manager on international artist ground transport and tour management for DStv Delicious Festival. I supported the logistics and movements for Jill Scott, Busta Rhymes, and Jason Derulo, plus their touring parties, across hotels, venues, and off-site commitments.

My day-to-day was schedules, call times, pickups, reroutes, and making sure changes didn’t spiral. I coordinated closely with Mercedes-Benz as the luxury vehicle partner to keep vehicles, drivers, and standards consistent, and worked alongside the Delicious safety teams to keep movements controlled and professional. I also coordinated with airside logistics partners at OR Tambo International to ensure discreet handling of international guest arrivals and departures.

In the end, the artists moved smoothly and quietly through a very busy festival week, with the right level of comfort, privacy, and structure.
