Following on from the success of the initial Tyla tour, I was engaged under Safeguard Africa as Project Lead to manage logistics for Little Simz during her South Africa visit for House of Vans.

Over a tight multi-day schedule, I ran the moving parts that keep an artist’s visit smooth and secure: airport movements, hotel coordination, venue and event transfers, press moments, and multiple shoot locations. The work was highly hands-on and fast-paced, with solid pre-planning, tight windows, and real-time adjustments as conditions changed.

A big part of the role was quick thinking on the ground, making things happen through expedited networking, and keeping people aligned across security, production, venues, and the artist’s team, especially when locations or conditions carried elevated risk. The aim throughout was to keep the schedule tight, protect the artist’s space, and make sure everything ran smoothly.
