Savanna DryCon and Dry District
I was brought in by Urban Striker as Creative Strategist to craft the consumer journeys for Savanna’s two big closing moments of 2025, DryCon and Dry District.
My role was to turn “cool event” into an actual lived experience, fleshing out the guest activities, touchpoints, content beats, and movement through the spaces for a heavy lineup of South African influencers and talent, and giving the team a clear blueprint they could build from.
DryCon played like a premium corporate summit that slowly unravelled into Savanna’s kind of mischief, with audience moments and talent beats designed to keep people moving, laughing, and filming.
Dry District in Cape Town was a festive, seasonal pop-up at the V&A Waterfront, built as an immersive “dry world” with icy tunnel moments, apple-orchard installations, and perfect-serve bars. It leaned hard into photo ops and participation, including hashtag-driven competitions and a media partner tie-in, without losing the crisp, dry Savanna tone.
