Tyla Homecoming and Other Tours

I was brought in by Safeguard Africa to manage tour operations and artist safety for Grammy Award winning star, Tyla, during a period of exceptional global attention. My primary responsibility was protecting the artist’s privacy while delivering seamless, high-pressure public and live moments across multiple trips to South Africa in 2024.

This included her post-Grammy homecoming, spanning airport movements, dignitary engagements, private travel, and tightly controlled public appearances. I worked closely with artist management, close protection teams, venues, local authorities, and family to manage access, reduce exposure, and maintain calm, predictable operations.

I also coordinated logistics and safety across high-risk music video shoots, club and event appearances in Johannesburg and Cape Town, private jet transfers, and large-scale homecoming concerts attended by thousands. The focus throughout was discretion, real-time problem solving, and enabling the artist to operate confidently, safely, and without unnecessary interference.
