PUMA PLAYER’S LOUNGE
I was Creative Director on PUMA Player’s Lounge, leading the concept and content approach to make the release feel genuinely iconic, not just “another drop”.
The centrepiece was the setting. We shot at Johannesburg’s Rand Club, using its scale, texture, and old-world weight as a deliberate contrast to a modern PUMA launch. I built the creative around that tension and anchored it with Doc Khumalo and Teko Modise, keeping the focus on presence, heritage, and status rather than hype.
We captured the content with a tight crew and a punchy plan, and let the location do a lot of the talking. And yes, we flew a drone through those hallowed halls, so if anyone at the Rand Club regretted saying yes once they heard it, I’d understand.
